Interviewing, either by phone, or in person, is the major fact finding method we have at our disposal when obtaining information. It has to be done well.

In New Zealand Learning State and the Compliance Common Capability Programme (CCCP) have confirmed Interview Skills as an approved provider for the delivery of learning services, and assessment services by assessors registered with Learning State who have scope, for the following unit standards:

Background to PEACE training model

In 1993, the PEACE Training Model was introduced for Police use in England and Wales. It comprised two models, The Cognitive Model and The Management of Conversation. The PEACE Model has evolved and since been adopted by numerous Police forces and Government agencies worldwide including Scotland, Northern Ireland, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia and the Republic of Ireland.
